Transformational Event
For students, Albert opens detailing the spectacularly unlikely string of events needed from the Big Bang to the current moment to convey the momentousness of the conversation, then spends 40-minutes MOTIVATING winning decisions.
For business leaders, Albert speaks with the company in advance. His presentation method is to recount applicable critical successes and failures he has lived first-hand, then he opens the floor to challenging, MOTIVATIONAL Q & A.
I remind my audience of their unlimited possibilities, lifting the height of the conversation 10,000 feet, where the air is clear and we can scan the horizon and choose where to land. — Albert Mora
Albert’s Voyage
Albert’s voyage began in East Chicago, Indiana, where his father was a steel mill craneman and his mother was on the staff of the District Attorney’s office.
His young passion was reading math, science, and history books. Albert’s first job, at age-8, was paperboy, and he went on to work as delivery boy, stock boy, hardware store clerk, bus boy, dishwasher, and handyman through high school.
Albert received a full-ride academic scholarship to Purdue University’s engineering school. During college summers Albert worked at Inland Steel as an assistant mechanic, quality control inspector, and assistant research engineer.
During senior year, Albert worked as Cash Manager of the City of Gary, Indiana. Albert received a bachelors degree in business management from Purdue University.
After receiving an MBA from the University of Chicago, with concentrations in statistics and finance and a LEAD scholarship, Albert entered First Chicago Capital Markets (now part of JP Morgan Chase, the largest U.S. investment bank), where he worked in sales & trading and relationship management.
Albert moved his family to the West Coast where he worked in treasury for Fortune-50 companies including Ingram Micro and Hyundai Capital America. His treasury roles included foreign currency risk manager, senior manager, and assistant treasurer.
Albert has also advised Fortune clients as an investment banker and as an independent consultant. He has also worked in talent acquisition specializing in the artificial intelligence field.

Talks
High School
Albert’s high school presentations begin with the attention-getter of how extremely fine-tuned the universe had to be to build human brains – the most advanced objects in reality – one of which each student possesses. He recounts a history of transformational human achievement – surviving nature, discovering fire, speech, agriculture, writing, civilization, education, cosmology, physics, medicine, industry, and digital technology up to artificial intelligence.
The second half fo the presentation is a dive into the most consequential yet least-known corner of Wall Street, investment banking. He demonstrates basics of financial instruments – stocks, bonds, currencies, and derivatives – in which Albert is a highly experienced creator and transactor. He describes the roles involved in regulating, creating, and trading these instruments. He describes the three key investment banking functions, creation of securities (IPOs), mergers and divestitures, and sales and trading. He describes investment banking culture, hiring practices, training, and walks through a typical day in the life of an investment banker.
Albert closes by walking students through a visualization of themselves walking campus, meeting new people, studying fascinating topics, receiving a diploma, getting a job they love, and sharing the rewards of their long work with loved ones.
Corporate
Albert’s corporate presentations are targeted to current and aspiring CEOs, and executives reporting to CEOs.
Albert taps his toolbox built from 25-years as a corporate executive and direct involvement in over $100 billion in syndicated credit facilities, mergers and divestitures, currencies, commercial paper, Treasury bonds, municipal bonds, stocks, and derivatives.
Albert’s menu of corporate topics includes CEO development and succession, governance, mergers & divestitures, retaining top talent, optimizing the organizational chart, reorganizing product lines and divisions, capital-raising, investor relations, culture, sustainability, and the fast-changing opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence.
